Who am I?

I’m Alyssa. Wifey to my best friend, Patrick, and mama to my two darling boys—RJ 👼 + Redd 👦. We live in Portland, OR where we love to explore + eat yummy food + soak up as much time as we can as a family.

When we got married 8 years ago we had NO 🙅‍♀️🤷‍♂️ idea all the learning, growing and healing that we’d get to do together {losing RJ, battles with HELLP Syndrome + Pre-Eclampsia, pregnancy + parenting after loss, grief + anxiety + depression, moving halfway across the country, a demanding residency program, deciding how to continue to grow our family}

I started my Instagram account as a way to honor RJ and share my grief + healing + journey to motherhood. This led me to start my healthy lifestyle coaching business where I help mamas feel their best, create healthy habits and be surrounded by a tribe of women to cheer them on + hold them accountable.

Insta has continued to be where I share about mom life + self love + working to say ✌️ to mom guilt and my inner mean girl.

I’m soooooo excited to expand what I offer as a healthy lifestyle coach to include a guide for YOU to create a custom daily self care routine—personalized to help you add more YAY IN YOUR DAY! 🎉💁‍♀️✨

 

What is YAY IN YOUR DAY?

YAY IN YOUR DAY is alllllll about creating habits so simple + sustainable that you can do them on the daily and really tap into the power of the Compound Effect.

You’ll be able to fill your cup and take care of yourself without adding lots of time-consuming tasks to your never-ending to-do list—because we all know it’s SO easy to make sure everyone else’s needs are met then be too dang tired to get to taking care of you 😴

You’ll get tangible tips of ways to keep it {self care, healthy habits, liiiiiife 😉} SUPER simple, customize your daily priorities to your stage of life and be able to create small ways to add more YAY into your day!....yep, even the most wild + draining days of mamahood!

These are the things I have been doing * almost * daily for the last 2 years to help me get out of the funk I found myself in as a new mom. They’ve been a game changer in how I view life, how I handle stress and how I show up for myself! Not just for the super HARD stuff…but day to day managing life without becoming a 100% hot mess mom 😆
